Financial Confidence, Built for the Next Generation
LOTAM Finance is about real money skills for real life.
Our story
We started with a simple belief: young adults don’t need another lecture about money — they need real tools, real conversations, and a plan that actually fits their life.
We built LOTAM Finance for the stage of life where financial habits are still being formed — first paycheck, first credit card, first apartment, first student loan payment. The decisions made here shape everything that comes after, and too often, no one is in the room to help make them well.
That’s the room we built.
Our mission
To equip and empower the next generation with the financial knowledge and confidence to build a stronger future — one budget, one decision, and one habit at a time.
Who we serve
LOTAM Finance is built specifically for youth and young adults — college students, early-career professionals, and anyone navigating their first real financial decisions. We meet you where you are, without judgment about what you don’t yet know.
Our approach
We teach financial literacy, education and coaching — not investment advice. That means real, practical conversations about budgeting, credit, debt, and saving, taught in a way that actually sticks. We believe financial literacy is a skill, not a personality trait — and skills can be taught, practiced, and built.
Part of something bigger
LOTAM Finance is one part of the LOTAM Group, a family-founded organization built on one core belief: building stronger foundations — for families, communities, and futures. Alongside LOTAM Finance, the LOTAM Group includes education, health equity, and media ventures — all working toward the same goal, equipping the next generation to thrive.
Meet the founder
Abiola Adeyemi
Abiola founded LOTAM Finance out of a simple conviction: young people deserve real financial guidance before their habits — good or bad — are already set.
Her perspective is shaped by years working in finance at one of the country’s leading cancer research institutions, where she has held progressively senior roles in research finance and budget management. That same discipline — turning complex financial systems into clear, workable plans — is what she brings to coaching young adults through their first budget, first credit card, and first big money decisions.
LOTAM Finance is one part of the LOTAM Group, a family-founded organization Abiola leads alongside ventures in education, health equity, and media — each built on the same belief: stronger foundations start with the next generation.
